River City Saga: Three Kingdoms is a new entry in the long-running River City Ransom series, this time set during the Three Kingdoms period of Chinese history. It retains the classic side-scrolling beat 'em up gameplay, but adds RPG elements such as character progression and equipment.
Players will control a customizable character and fight their way through various levels, engaging in both brawling combat and strategic battles against enemies and bosses. The game features a large roster of characters inspired by famous figures from the Three Kingdoms era, each with their own unique fighting styles and abilities.
